Akamoi – Enki [Stochastic Resonance]
akamoi è un progetto sonoro che nasce agli inizi del 2000 in Irpinia.
L’approccio è legato all’improvvisazione e alla sperimentazione di summe di frequenze e noise.
L’accento, quindi, è posto sulla gestione ed interazione/interpretazione di frequenze, toni, rumori, click and cut che hanno l’intento di generare un ambiente morto ma dinamico nel quale potersi calare.
Il lavoro,”Enki”, per la label Stochastic Resonance, vuole essere l’espressione del concetto di fluido sonoro continuo e motile allo stesso tempo infatti Enki è il dio sumero dell’acqua, del mare, dei laghi e della creazione. E’ una figura legata al cambiamento e alla vita in se in quanto generatore ed ha, inoltre, uno stretto collegamento con il fluido vitale ovvero l’acqua che può essere di volta in volta portatrice di distruzione ma anche di vita in quanto elemento fondamentale della creazione della natura.
Il lavoro è nato nel febbraio 2012 ed è stato completato nel febbraio 2013.

The Emphasis is therefore placed on the management and interaction/interpretation of frequencies, tones, noises, clicks and cuts, with the intent to generate a dead but dynamic environment to slip into.
Enki Is the Sumerian God of water, seas, lakes and creation.
It’s a figure linked to the change and as a generator of life, is closely connected with the vital fluid or water that may be from time to time bearer of destruction or key element of creation.
The work “Enki”, produced for Stochastic Resonance label, wants to be the expression of the concepts of continuous and motile sounds at the same time.
The work began in February 2012 and was completed in February 2013.
