With this release I pay tribute to India, a country where I spent many years, a country that holds ancient philosophy and mysticism.

The Sanskrit word prāṇa (प्राण) means breath or the breath of life, vital air, principle of life. It is an invisible energy that permeates the Universe.

Shakti (शक्ति) is a Sanskrit word meaning “Primordial Cosmic Energy”, the feminine, creative, cosmic force that is the source of creation and sustenance of the Universe. The energy that transforms Absolute (masculine principle) or Emptiness into visible form and living matter.

Chandra (चन्द्र) is a Sanskrit term meaning “the moon” or “shining”. Chandra is the Hindu moon deity, also known as Soma, who is responsible for emotions, consciousness, and the nectar of immortality.

Utpala (उत्पल) in Sanskrit is a blue, dark blue or black lotus and the white lotus is Padma.
In Buddhism the closing of the Padma flower and the opening of the Utpala determine day and night in the sky.
The lotus is a symbol of the Universe; it floats in the ocean of creation. Utpala flower rises pure and radiant above muddy waters that symbolizes purity and enlightenment – rise above Samsara.
