DESCRIPTION:Si scaldano I motori del Discovery  Sardinia Festival\, la rassegna internazionale dedicate al jazz e alle sue contaminazioni con la musica dance\, la terza edizione del festival che ha ospitato nomi del calibro di Jazzanova e Nicola Conte\, si terrà ad Alghero dal 5 al 8 settembre. \nSabato 3 agosto una anteprima di tutto rispetto. \nSi parte alle ore 18 presso lo stabilimento balneare Alghero Holidays’ club in via lido\, con l’esibizione dei dj’s Francesco Botteghi e Gangalistics. Il primo decano della scena nu jazz isolana da venti anni conduce il programma radio Planet groove\, il secondo\, Gangalistics  esponente di punta della nootempo records\, è campione di scratch e i suoi dj set sono influenzati dal dub e dal jazz. \nDalle 24 in poi ci spostiamo al Trò Beach Disco\, lo splendido locale sul lungomare Valencia . \nNella fantastica location sul mare si esibiranno i dj’s e producers: Guido Monobass e Chromatic Filters. \nGUIDO MONOBASS (Biorecordings)\nGuido Monobass trova il primo contatto con la musica elettronica nei primi anni ’90 avvicinandosi al mondo della nightlife\, appassionato ed intenditore delle novita’ e delle tendenze musicali europee fonda il web magazine Aremun.Com e la propria label Aremun Records. \nInizia a suonare nel 2000 nei party e club sardi ma soprattutto in alcuni dei piu’ importanti eventi della Sardegna riuscendo a creare un’ottimo feeling con il dancefloor. \nGuido con mentalità avanguardista si appassiona sempre di più del ricercato\, entrando nel particolare della musica\, amalgamando l’elettronica alle basi del Funk e Jazz. \nAttualmente è produttore per conto proprio e partecipa al progetto Monobass insieme al suo compagno Kryss. \n \nCHROMATIC FILTERS (London – UK) \nIl progetto “Chromatic Filters” nasce a Londra nell’autunno 2009 dall’incontro tra Luca Sanna e il musicista/remixer Pierpaolo Sechi. \nLa costante ispirazione dalle colonne sonore di Piero Piccioni\, dalla NY disco dei primi anni 80\, le influenze afrobeat\, sino alla più profonda Detroit techno\, si concretizza dando vita\, nell’autunno del 2010 all’ep ‘Hypnotic Broad Beans’\, debuttando così con una delle indie label italiane più conosciute a livello internazionale\, la Rebirth records\, la quale annovera tra l’altro artisti del calibro di Robert Owens\, Larry Heard\, Osunlade\, Moodymann\, The Revenge\, Tracey Thorn\, Henrik Schwarz\, Faze Action\, Tevo Howard\, Dixon\, Worgull e molti altri. \n \nIl disco\, impreziosito dal remix del talentuoso britannico Mark E (Merc/Jiscomusic)\, si è portato rapidamente all’attenzione degli addetti ai lavori come Simon Harrison\, inserendolo nel suo “Basic Soul Show”. Nel 2011 sempre su Rebirth bissano con il secondo ep chiamato “Spyro Evo” un progetto balearic slow beat accompagnato da un originale traccia remixata dal newyorkese Slow Hands (Wolf+Lamb records)\, caratterizzato dal singolo Plastic Mirror selezionate dagli X-Press 2 su Ministry of Sound Radio e Spyro Evo\, selezionato ampiamente su Rai Tunes dal dj italiano Alessio Bertallott. Nel 2012 sono coinvolti insieme a remixers come Larry Heard (Mr Fingers)\, Morning Factory\, Morphosis\, Artifact nel progetto dei giapponesi Kousuke Ishida e Yuka Kobayashi (aka Bocca Grande). L’ultima produzione su vinile è l’ep Distant Roots\, su Rebirth\, un progetto slow-mo\, esaltato dai remixers del giapponese Tetsu Shibuya (Brisa) e dall’americano di Chicago Jamie 3:26 dando con quest’ultimo un taglio decisamente più da club alla versione. La traccia figura nella Compost Black Label Session\, una delle label undergroung più importanti a livello internazionale. segna su Naked Lunch la storica label di A.Paul le prime release a sfondo europeo e successivamente su M_REC in digitale e vinile .\nnel 2010 ha l’occasione di esibirsi nel MAXIMAL festival insieme a l’amico DEH-NOIZER con cui lavorera a diversi lavori su KETRA e sulla inmortale etichetta di THE ADVENT \, kombination research .\nNella sua strada verso la scoperta di questo stile che prima non gli apparteneva \, mark incontrerà ALEX BAU che sceglierà tracks di mark per poi pubblicare in 2 ep quello che sarà uno dei suoi primi successi .\nLa germania comincia ad interessarsi al sound di mark \, lavorerà su TK records insieme a TORSTEN KANZLER successivamente lavorerà con l’amico francese MORGAN TOMAS su RELOADING dove rilascerà sicuramente uno dei suoi lavori piu famosi insieme a AUDIO INJECTION aka TRUNCATE .\nNella carriera di mark giocano un ruolo importante anche MONOLOC che scegliera un lavoro di mark per la sua label SMALLROOM e che si esibirà piu volte con mark in b2b .\nFinalmente mark comincia ad essere riconosciuto in ambito mondiale e comincia a provare un enorme soddisfazione per i risultati del suo lavoro e nel 2010 comincia con i suoi primi lavori di Mixing e Mastering con INFORMA records e DEEPBASS lavorando su tracks del suddetto e di MARK BROOM .\nEntra a far parte anche della famiglia ELEKTRAX dove rilascerà vari lavori come anche su TRANSLUCENT \, GYNOID e DARKNET\nMark comincia ad essere richiesto anche in STATI UNITI precisamente sulla famosa prosthetic pressings e sulla famosa DROID di Drumcell dove rilasciera un rmx per KYLE GEIGER insieme a material object \, edit select e speedy j .\nAllo stesso tempo mark non abbandona la sua passione come promoter e fonda a napoli insieme ai suoi collaboratori DECOMPRESSED TECHNO MOVMENT che si faceva carico di lasciare viva la scena underground techno della sua città \, proprio qui conoscera DAVE THE DRUMMER per il quale lavorerà su un remix rilasciato sulla storica HIDRAULYX .\npoco dopo mark è scelto da DAMON WILD per remixare insieme a marcel dettman e tanti altre colonne della techno una storica traccia dell’owner di SYNEWAVE … “avian” .\nnel 2011 mark ormai è richiesto dalle migliori label sul mercato \, lavora su SLEAZE \, su SWR dell’amico SVEN WITTEKIND \, con GSR di GAYLE SAN \, e su LABYRINTH \, SILENT STEPS \, FREITAG \, 43Recordings \, ARCHETYPES \, BROODaudio e su KIDDAZ.FM e MICRO.FON .\nMark riceve il suo primo booking fuori d’eruopa e parte per il GREEN SIDE FESTIVAL 5 in Merida – Venezuela .\nnel medesimo anno mark insieme ad altri promoter decide di provare a creare un evento differente nella sua città \, un evento che non tratti sempre lo stesso stile musicale \, crea il RESONANCE FESTIVAL che con tutte le sue difficoltà lascia stremati i suoi creatori .\nMark decide di transferirsi in Spagna a GRANADA dove il collaborazione con THE ZONE rec incomincieranno una collaborazione con INDUSTRIAL COPERA dove si svolgera successivamente il CELLS IN RIOT festival insieme a DAMON WILD \, SPACE DJZ \, ERIC SNEO \, A.PAUL .\nAncora una volta mark riesce a dimostrare le sue qualità si esibirà in portogallo \, spagna \, francia \, passando per berlino nello storico Tresor e per il The Bunker di amsterdam insieme a PAUL BOEX e SAMULI KEMPPI .\nMark è certo che la culla delle sue idee si trovi in germania e decide nel 2012 di trasferirsi a berlino dove sarà promoter nella famosa STATTBAD (successivamente famosa per il BOILER ROOM) dove si esibirà varie volte affiancato da artisti come DINO SABATINI ALEX BAU DASHA RUSH GAYLE SAN ; al brunnen 70 svolgerà il suo primo KETRAshowcase fuori d’italia .\nResta per piu di un anno radicato in berlino dove imparerà a conoscere nuove visioni della techno e la comincerà a vivere in maniera differente .\nParte importante della sua esperienza tedesca la gioca sicuramente Francesco Arancio produttore e promoter Italo-Tedesco \, tra i migliori amici di mark e owner della crew creata a berlino \, ZERO2NINE .\nQui conosce anche Kata Mercado \, attualmente artista Ketra Records e sua moglie con la quale deciderà di transferirsi in chile ; crea i suoi primi eventi ononimi della crew con la quale lavora a berlino e compie la sua prima tournèè ketra in COLOMBIA dove si esibirà in b2b con kata in MEDELLIN \, BOGOTà e SANTA ROSA DE CABAL .\nCrea il suo seconodo aka OMEGA CODE e la label GEIST DES RAUMES ; She began her career in the electronic scene in 2006 and soon after was recognized for her talent which right after then included booking requests for events in her local residency of South America Peru\, Ecuador & Colombia. Her hypnotic sounds are simply best described as ‘High progressive techno’. DESCRIPTION:W TECHNO – When? Where? Who? Why? è l’ultimo evento di Basstation prima dell’estate. Doppio appuntamento tra Interno24 dalle ore 23.00 e Caffè degli Spiriti in pre-serata dalle ore 20.00. \nW Techno è un progetto nato dalla volontà di far conoscere meglio tutto ciò che si cela dietro la storia del genere techno\, appunto. Personaggi\, città e aneddoti a volte nascosti ai più. Si rinnova l’appuntamento che qualche anno fa aveva visto al collaborazione di Andrea Benedetti\, che raccontò tra video e tratti estrapolati dal suo libro “Mondo Techno”\, sia Detroit che la scena italiana. \nIn questa occasione sarà il film- documentario “We Call It Techno” a dar qualche nozione in più sulle radici del genere\, descrivendo la scena del clubbing tedesco\, culla della techno europea. Appuntamento in tarda serata nella suggestiva terrazza del Bastione S.Remy presso il Caffè degli Spiriti\, dove a seguire sarà possibile assistere sempre gratuitamente alla performance di Hubble e del trombettista Riccardo Pittau. \nDalle 23.00 l’evento si sposta nel club Interno24. Due ospiti\, tedeschi come la storia che questa volta vogliamo raccontare: DJ PETE e TOM BONATY. Entrambi attivi nel circuito techno internazionale con alcuni dei progetti più noti e rispettati della scena underground contemporanea\, parliamo di Hard Wax e Prologue \nPeter Kuschnereit aka Dj Pete è uno dei punti di riferimento della scena techno berlinese da decenni. Appartenente alla crew del rinomato negozio di dischi Hardwax ha composto musica per la storica label Chain Reaction sotto gli alias Substance e Scion. I suoi set comprendono una vasta gamma delle correnti più importanti della musica elettronica degli ultimi 20 anni\, con sfumature che vanno dalla dubstep alla techno. \nTom Bonaty fondatore di Prologue\, label tra le più apprezzate della nuova scena techno contemporanea\, si occupa di musica elettronica dal 1989\, influenzato dallo stile proposto dal vecchio club Ultraschall di Monaco. DESCRIPTION:NO UFO’S muove i suoi primi passi all’inizio della stagione\, da un’idea del produttore sardo Claudio PRC con il supporto dell’organizzazione Basstation\, e la partnership del giovane gruppo Somewhere Events. \nIl continuo interesse rivolto alla techno da parte di Basstation\, considerata l’affinità con il forte sviluppo avuto dal genere negli ultimi periodi\, e la direzione seguita dello scenario techno contemporaneo\, hanno creato i presupposti per la trasformazione di una collaborazione nata tra artisti e la stessa organizzazione\, in un evento periodico su cui la stessa Basstation diviene curatrice principale del progetto. \nRagion per cui\, il pubblico potrà godere\, dopo alcuni anni di riflessione da parte del gruppo\, di un party esclusivamente techno. Le basi e gli stimoli creati da NO UFO’S durante questa stagione saranno sviluppati nell’arco della stagione futura. \nL’evento si rivolge agli amanti delle sonorità techno\, attraverso una serie di performance riconducibili a passato e futuro dello scenario internazionale\, tramite la voce di chi ne ha scritto la storia e di chi oggi\, continua a rendere il genere sempre più vivo. \nQuarto ospite della serie Brando Lupi\, Roma (Italia). \nProduttore\, musicista\, dj\, fotografo. Le influenze di Brando Lupi variano dal post industrial-rock\, all’elettronica sperimentale\, alla musica classica moderna. Nel tempo Brando ha collaborato con svariati artisti di talento\, nel 2000 ha fondato la sua etichetta discografica Detune Records e ha prodotto musica per importanti label come Orange Groove\, Samuvar\, Mental Groove ed Elettronica Romana. Recentemente ha composto la colonna sonora per il film “La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi”\, distribuito da Medusa\, affiancato da Mike Patton\, leader dei Faith No More\, film e colonna sonora presentati alla 67a Mostra del Cinema di Venezia. Attualmente risiede a Roma\, diffondendo frequenze sperimentali e spirituali in tutto il mondo. La sua musica è considerata un punto cardine dello stile ipnotico e profondo tipicamente italiano che sta caratterizzando la techno degli ultimi anni\, singoli come Destination Eskimo e Metal Slave oggi sono reputati capolavori del genere. \n  \nIn occasione della quarta edizione di NO UFO’S ci sarà l’anteprima dell’uscita del primo album del progetto The Gods Planet di Claudio PRC e Ness\, che uscirà tra poco in formato speciale\, su cassetta a tiratura limitata\, per l’etichetta cagliaritana On2Sides.
