Il club non è più l’unico contenitore per vivere e conoscere la musica. Un pre-serata costituito da un mix di incontri\, mostre\, proiezioni che raccontano la techno\, è sempre seguito dall’evento notturno in cui è il suono a far da padrone.\nUn viaggio per chi ha voglia di fare scoperte diverse\, attraverso luoghi\, testimonianze\, codici e storie dei protagonisti. Una storia appassionante. \nQuest’anno si punta sulla continuità\, non più un avvenimento sporadico\, ma una serie di appuntamenti con cui si tenta di ricreare una mappa delle città che hanno fatto la storia e quelle che continuano a dare ampio respiro alla scena. Detroit\, Roma\, Berlino\, Uk e via dicendo. \nW Techno inaugura la stagione invernale con due appuntamenti che si succedono dalle ore 19.00 sino all’alba\, in due differenti location. Il Mood Club ospiterà l’evento notturno\, mentre Studio Umido il pre-evento a partire dalla sera. \nLa prima tappa del percorso sarà DETROIT. \nUna storia\, quella della stessa città\, che rispecchia un suono. Di questo hanno già scritto numerosi autori anche in Italia\, (Andrea Benedetti\, Cristian Zingales e Claudia Attimonelli su tutti)\, segnalandoci quali siano stati i principali contesti e avvenimenti. Il funk visionario di George Clinton\, l’industria automobilistica da cui a preso l’appellativo di “Motor City”\, lo stato della comunità afro-americana\, punti cruciali da cui è stato originato un genere che ha trasformato la produzione degli anni a seguire. Insomma\, tutti quei riferimenti sociali\, culturali ed artistici non di poco conto\, che possono dare delle risposte sul perchè sia successo proprio li e in quel momento. \nOspite dell’evento DJ SKURGE\, appartenente allo storico collettivo degli Underground Resistance. Gli UR sono stati più volte definiti come la versione techno dei Pubblic Enemy\, nella cui musica sono profondamente racchiusi l’impegno politico\, la lotta sociale e all’industria della musica. DJ Skurge è conosciuto sia come DJ che come tastierista per alcune delle più leggendarie band techno del mondo: Galaxy to Galaxy\, Interstellar Fugitives\, The Aquanauts\, nel progetto di Jeff Mills “Something in the Sky” e nella pionieristica band di Juan Atkins\, Model 500.\nInsieme a lui due produttori sardi\, CLAUDIO PRC e MEZMERIC\, residents del progetto e validi rappresentanti della scena locale. \nL’evento notturno sarà preceduto dall’appuntamento nel quartiere Castello di Cagliari presso Studio Umido\, con l’esposizione dell’artista ABDUL QADIM HAQQ.\nIn mostra il contributo artistico dell’illustratore della scena techno di Detroit da oltre vent’anni. Una serie di artwork che hanno rappresentato etichette ed artisti della Motown tra i quali Derrick May/Transmat\, Carl Craig/Planet E\, UR\, Juan Atkins\, Kevin Saunderson\, Eddie Fowlkes e via dicendo.\nFantascienza e immaginario sci-fi (come ad esempio l’artwork Classics per Model 500 e Intergalactic Beats per Planet E)\, tribalismo\, simbologia extra-terrestre e spirito afro-americano (basti pensare a Revenge Of The Jaguar per Rolando e Warriors Returnper Drexciya) in grado di dare forma al suono per mezzo dell’immagine\, da allora fino ai giorni nostri. \n  \nIngresso riservato ai possessori di tessera A.I.T.E.S. 2013\nIscrizione all’ingresso 2 euro. \nEvento pre-serale presso Studio Umido\nIngresso gratuito

DESCRIPTION:Lineup: \nSicco Bosscher\nPhone\nOscar Sogorb\nDavid Verdeguer\n  \n \n  \n  \nBiography Sicco Bosscher \nSicco Bosscher is one of the founders of the Dutch imprint Audiosculpture.\nAmsterdam based Sicco Bosscher was born in 1976. At a very early age his passion for music was ignited and he was captured by the raw sound of heavy metal bands. In the mid-eighties hip hop caught his interest and from here it was a small step to the sound of the electronic pioneers which was sweeping Europe in the late eighties and early nineties. After a couple of years of visiting parties he decided he also wanted to be part of the scene in a more active way. He started buying records and practicing his skills. He got his first turntables back in 1993 In the beginning the music he played was of an eclectic nature. This was until he set foot in the legendary Westergas fabriek in 1994 and he never looked back. When he started listening to techno he was inspired by dj’s like Juan Atkins\, Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin. \nNowadays his style ranges from deep minimal to strong and pumping techno with a touch of off beat depending on the venue and timeslot he’s playing. His spinning has landed him gigs at Awakenings and Lowlands and countries like Poland and Hungary to name but a few. \nSicco is one of the founders of the Dutch imprint Audiosculpture which has a lot of international support. Next to Audiosculpture he released tracks on ARMS and SUBSIST Records. \n  \n  \n

Vuoi perché è tra gli artisti più prolifici degli ultimi tempi\, continuità con cui è arrivato a etichette come Electric Deluxe\, M_nus\, Figure\, Soma e via dicendo.Vuoi perchè ha già dato prova di se nei riferimenti più grandi della techno mondiale\, quali il Berghain\, Tresor\, Fabric\, Fuse\, Womb\, Rex…\nDifficile seguirlo in suo set per pura compagnia\, techno al quadrato senza un attimo di respiro. \nIl resto sembra storia nota ma senza mai fidarsi. \nDUSTY KID Live non è lo stesso del dj-set e considerato il vociferarsi di un nuovo album non c’è da essere così tanto sicuri d’averlo già sentito troppo ultimamente. Tutto questo dovrebbe già far intendere qualcosa ai più attenti. \nALESSIO MEREU ritorna in cattedra in un evento 100% techno\, e considerato il suo primo amore non abbiamo dubbi di ciò a cui darà vita. DESCRIPTION:Si scaldano I motori del Discovery  Sardinia Festival\, la rassegna internazionale dedicate al jazz e alle sue contaminazioni con la musica dance\, la terza edizione del festival che ha ospitato nomi del calibro di Jazzanova e Nicola Conte\, si terrà ad Alghero dal 5 al 8 settembre. \nSabato 3 agosto una anteprima di tutto rispetto. \nSi parte alle ore 18 presso lo stabilimento balneare Alghero Holidays’ club in via lido\, con l’esibizione dei dj’s Francesco Botteghi e Gangalistics. Il primo decano della scena nu jazz isolana da venti anni conduce il programma radio Planet groove\, il secondo\, Gangalistics  esponente di punta della nootempo records\, è campione di scratch e i suoi dj set sono influenzati dal dub e dal jazz. \nDalle 24 in poi ci spostiamo al Trò Beach Disco\, lo splendido locale sul lungomare Valencia . \nNella fantastica location sul mare si esibiranno i dj’s e producers: Guido Monobass e Chromatic Filters. \nGUIDO MONOBASS (Biorecordings)\nGuido Monobass trova il primo contatto con la musica elettronica nei primi anni ’90 avvicinandosi al mondo della nightlife\, appassionato ed intenditore delle novita’ e delle tendenze musicali europee fonda il web magazine Aremun.Com e la propria label Aremun Records. \nInizia a suonare nel 2000 nei party e club sardi ma soprattutto in alcuni dei piu’ importanti eventi della Sardegna riuscendo a creare un’ottimo feeling con il dancefloor. \nGuido con mentalità avanguardista si appassiona sempre di più del ricercato\, entrando nel particolare della musica\, amalgamando l’elettronica alle basi del Funk e Jazz. \nAttualmente è produttore per conto proprio e partecipa al progetto Monobass insieme al suo compagno Kryss. \n \nCHROMATIC FILTERS (London – UK) \nIl progetto “Chromatic Filters” nasce a Londra nell’autunno 2009 dall’incontro tra Luca Sanna e il musicista/remixer Pierpaolo Sechi. \nLa costante ispirazione dalle colonne sonore di Piero Piccioni\, dalla NY disco dei primi anni 80\, le influenze afrobeat\, sino alla più profonda Detroit techno\, si concretizza dando vita\, nell’autunno del 2010 all’ep ‘Hypnotic Broad Beans’\, debuttando così con una delle indie label italiane più conosciute a livello internazionale\, la Rebirth records\, la quale annovera tra l’altro artisti del calibro di Robert Owens\, Larry Heard\, Osunlade\, Moodymann\, The Revenge\, Tracey Thorn\, Henrik Schwarz\, Faze Action\, Tevo Howard\, Dixon\, Worgull e molti altri. \n \nIl disco\, impreziosito dal remix del talentuoso britannico Mark E (Merc/Jiscomusic)\, si è portato rapidamente all’attenzione degli addetti ai lavori come Simon Harrison\, inserendolo nel suo “Basic Soul Show”. Nel 2011 sempre su Rebirth bissano con il secondo ep chiamato “Spyro Evo” un progetto balearic slow beat accompagnato da un originale traccia remixata dal newyorkese Slow Hands (Wolf+Lamb records)\, caratterizzato dal singolo Plastic Mirror selezionate dagli X-Press 2 su Ministry of Sound Radio e Spyro Evo\, selezionato ampiamente su Rai Tunes dal dj italiano Alessio Bertallott. Nel 2012 sono coinvolti insieme a remixers come Larry Heard (Mr Fingers)\, Morning Factory\, Morphosis\, Artifact nel progetto dei giapponesi Kousuke Ishida e Yuka Kobayashi (aka Bocca Grande). L’ultima produzione su vinile è l’ep Distant Roots\, su Rebirth\, un progetto slow-mo\, esaltato dai remixers del giapponese Tetsu Shibuya (Brisa) e dall’americano di Chicago Jamie 3:26 dando con quest’ultimo un taglio decisamente più da club alla versione. La traccia figura nella Compost Black Label Session\, una delle label undergroung più importanti a livello internazionale. Allo Sciabecco\, club di riferimento per il pubblico che ama la musica più cool\, si alternano ospiti internazionali tra house e techno di qualità\, richiamando appassionati da tutta l’isola e oltremare. \n E’ proprio dal trinomio clubbing\, mare e Sardegna che nasce MOVEMENT ON THE ISLAND meets UNDERWATER. \nMovement Torino Music Festival\, una delle manifestazioni di riferimento in ambito europeo per la musica contemporanea\, si unisce infatti per questo appuntamento esclusivo al programma di Underwater\, che festeggia così il terzo anno sotto la direzione dell’organizzazione sarda Basstation. Eventi come Re-volution\, Carl Cox & Friends e Global sono un segno di ciò che la sua intramontabile figura rappresenta. Ha attraversato da protagonista assoluto almeno tre stagioni di nightclubbing\, ha suonato in ogni parte del globo tra cui gli storici The Eclipse\, Edge\, Shelly’s\, Sterns Nightclub\, Heaven\, Angels e The Haçienda\, così come per i rave Fantazia\, Dreamscape e Amnesia.
