Ritorna il Versatile Alghero.New.Music.Weekend dopo le preview dei mesi passati che hanno raccolto un notevole successo (The Hor – Sassari e Ritual – Cagliari)\, prende forma da giovedi 24 Luglio lungo tutto l’ultimo fine settimana di luglio fino a domenica 27 Luglio tra gli appuntamenti più attesi in Sardegna nel panorama della musica elettronica. \nUn manifestazione che cresce anno dopo anno ed è diventata un punto fermo nella programmazione culturale della Sardegna valorizzando settori spesso (erroneamente) considerati marginali e che invece sono sempre più diffusi. Certo\, non è facile portare avanti talitipo di progetti che vedono in primo piano l’esigenza di dare spazio alle espressioni artistiche contemporanee: dalla musica al performance urbane passando per visual e grafiche mai banali. Ma alla passione difficilmente si può (potrà) mettere un freno\, nonostante i tantissimi ostacoli. Il motore sono le idee\, senza queste non si farebbe niente. Idee per andare avanti e creare situazioni inedite e spesso provocatorie. Ed è per questo che quest’anno siamo fieri di aver condiviso il percorso comunicativo con una realtà fantastica qual’è Atelier du Bizarre le cui invenzioni sono oramai un punto di riferimento del settore a cui si rivolgono. Lavorare la pelle\, e altri materiali\, per creare abiti\, maschere\, marchingegni e tanto altro non fini a se stessi ma parte di un Mondo\, oggi\, sempre più decadente. \nQuesto il senso del Versatile 2014: la decadenza. Da qui lo sviluppo di uno studio grafico\, visual compresi\, che potesse rappresentare (anche) questo sentimento di inquietudine\, molto vicino all’ansia e smarrimento provati/subiti in altri periodi storici simili all’attuale\, a partire dai primissimi del ‘900. Ciò è stato possibile (sempre) grazie alle idee e soprattutto alla oramai solida e proficua collaborazione con Mouse ADV\, in particolare con Luca Ciabatti e Gianfranco Fois. DESCRIPTION:UNDERWATER – OPENING 2014 presenta \nREBEKAH (Clr)\nwww.facebook.com/rebekah.music.page \n  \nDj residents: \n CLAUDIO PRC (Prologue)\n ACIRNE (Memento)\n  \nUNDERWATER torna a Villasimius per il quarto anno! \nOspite della serata inaugurale presso Lo Sciabecco Discoclub\, è la nuova protagonista al femminile dell’etichetta Clr: REBEKAH. \nInglese\, lunghi capelli neri e bella quanto basta per far parlare subito di se quando si affaccia nelle consolle di mezzo mondo. \nNasce a Birmingham\, in un’atmosfera techno personalmente segnata da differenti generi musicali\, come dimostrano i suoi primi amori non del tutto dance ma facilmente riconducibili ai 4/4\, come Kraftwerk\, Sex Pistols\, Cure\, Depeche Mode.. \nRebekah entra far parte del team di Chris Liebing relativamente da poco ma con ottimi risultati che le hanno permesso di esibirsi presto nei due templi della techno europea\, parliamo del Tresor e del Berghain. \nLa sua uscita nel 2013\, proprio per Clr con l’Ep Cycles è l’inizio di una piacevole avventura che da tempo era nell’aria dopo aver realizzato i precedenti Ep su etichette ben note come Nacked lunch e Criminal Records. Ancora\, l’uscita su Audio Brood e la realizzazione del personale progetto discografico Records Decoy giunto alla seconda uscita insieme all’album in cantiere fanno pensare che questa ragazza abbia tutte le carte in regola per non cadere in semplici luoghi comuni. Ha classe\, energia e passione\, tanta da portarla lontana esclusivamente grazie a questo. \nAccanto all’artista inglese\, un’altra rappresentante del gentil sesso in consolle: Acirne. Entrambe in compagnia di uno dei nomi più amati del panorama techno isolano: Claudio Prc. \nQuesto primo evento apre la strada ad altri due grandi appuntamenti con Underwater\, sempre allo Sciabecco di Villasimius. Da qui inizia a frequentare locali molto importanti e di tendenza in Italia\, Germania e infine Spagna dove grazie a Circoloco e Cocoon conosce e si innamora della musica house con sfumature e cadenze latine\, minimal techno ed elettroniche. \nDa quel momento comincia a produrre e suonare solo quel genere musicale. Nei suoi set possiamo trovare\, comunque\, diverse influenze donando così un tocco di stile che differenzia ogni suo set. Si ispira ad artisti come Richie Hawtin\, Marco Carola\, Ricardo Villalobos\, Raresh\, Luciano. \nIn pochissimo tempo si dedica a decine di sue produzioni\, tutte molto apprezzate da dj producer di livello internazionale.\nLa traccia “Vacaciones en Chile” testata nei club più importanti lo catapulta dritto nell’house music business! \nConferma il suo straordinario talento con la produzione successiva “Chanting Near Africa”  uscita sulla nuova etichetta mondiale Cecillè; non a caso è stato l’artista più giovane della storia a mettere piede nella celebre consolle del Time Warp 2008 di Rotterdam! \nOggi Ilario Alicante\, anche grazie all’ingresso nella famiglia Cocoon di Sven Vath e alla creazione di una propria etichetta discografica (la Deep Moves)\, può considerarsi uno dei più interessanti talenti della scena mondiale; un DJ che gira abitualmente le consolle dei miglior club di tutto il pianeta…non poteva di certo mancare l’Ambra Night! \nGARDEN: Stefano Sanna \nGAZEBO: Fabio Even | Anthony Tabano | Antonio Cantelmi
