SUMMARY:Krake Festival 2012
DESCRIPTION:mon 6th of august\nKRAKE OPENING @ Passionskirche \nMURCOF — live\nTHOMAS KÖNER — live\nBERSARIN QUARTETT — live\nFLOEX — live\nADAM WEISHAUPT\nWe start off the festival with a massive line up of the finest in ambient and electronica\, presented in one of the most beautiful locations in Berlin\, the Passionskirche\, an old church in the center of the city.\nMURCOF is a very modern composer\, who utilizes technology to make epic\, moving suites of music with a spiritual undertow. He draws on minimalism\, post modernism and baroque music to create music that moves the mind and heart. The shows of this south american artist are rare\, and we are particularly proud to have him on board this year. Pioneering multi media artist THOMAS KÖNER is the second headliner of this evening\, another special feature we are proud to present. \nopen doors:   19:00\nstart:              20:00\nend: 24:00 \nRunning order: \nBersarin Quartett\nThomas Köner\nMurcof\nFloex \n///////////////////////////////////// \nwed\, 8th of august\nSTROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS presents STELLATE SERIES @ Berghain Kantine \nPERC — experimental live set\nLUCY — experimental live set\nDADUB — experimental live set\nvisuals:\nOBLIVIOUS ARTEFACTS \nAt the Berghain Kantine\, the origianl home to all Killekill events we collaborate with STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS\, one of the most prolific contemporary techno labels\, to present STELLATE\, a series of 10“es\, they release\, with a strong focus on the dark and experimental side of electronic music. \nPacked with a line up of highest quality\, this night will be the way you know this almost legendary label: explorative\, forward-looking\, mind-blowing. \nAdditional a lecture (in german only) is going to take place before:\nIm Rahmen des 3. \n20:00                  open doors\n20:30 — 21:30    lecture\n22:oo                  doors open again\n23:00 — 00:00   Dadub\n00:00 — 01:00   Lucy\n01:00 — 02:00   Perc\n02:00 — end       Surprise Dj\n///////////////////////////////////// \nfri\, 10th of august\nKRAKE FESTIVAL @ SUICIDE CIRCUS \nULRICH SCHNAUSS (city center offices\, bureau b) — live\nPOLE (~scape\, pole music) — live\nKID 606 (tigerbeat6) — live\nSHRUBBN!! With POLE and others following on the main floor\, this night will cover anything from ambient to techno crossing over dub techno\, electro and whatever. \nOn the outside floor ALEX SMOKE is keen to present an extended daring dj set far away from how you may know him. And we are happy to have him do exactly that. \nThis is what we want\, and this is what this festival is about! \nStart Time: 23:00 \n///////////////////////////////////// \nsat\, 11th of august\nKRAKE FESTIVAL @ SUICIDE CIRCUS \nTIM EXILE (warp) — live\nCEEPHAX ACID CREW (rephlex) — live\nLAKKER (killekill\, blueprint) — live\nPHLEX schematic — live\nTORNADO HORR –schematic  — live\nBARKER (ostgut ton\, leisure system)\nJAMES DEAN BROWN (perlon)\nSWARM INTELLIGENCE (skank\, stasis)\nKRAKE BOYS (krake)\nMONTY (vru music)\nThe saturday night focusses on rougher sounds on the main floor. Vocalist TIM EXILE will leave you standing with your mouth open\, when he builds weird electronica tracks from sounds he makes with his mouth only. Rephlex-artist CEEPHAX ACID CREW\, brother to the infamous Squarepusher\, will kick the audience’s bottom with his very own definition of an acid inferno. Another highlight is the newcomer scottish duo LAKKER\, who fascinated with their recent releases on KILLEKILL and blueprint and the unique mixture of techno\, IDM and dubstep\, they work on. No wonder their tracks get played a lot by people like Aphex Twin or Surgeon. \n  \n \nStart time: 23:00
