VA – Affin Fractals [Affin]

VA – Affin Fractals [Affin]

Joachim Spieth, fondatore della label Affin realizza la sua prima compilation mix con nuovi brani inediti, dai resident Little Fritter, Roberto, The Dolphins and Chris Page affiancati da alcuni nuovi come Mattias Fridell, Jeroen Searchand Ad.lib & Silvision. Little Fritter apre la sessione con “It’s So Real”, seguito da Dirty Culture’s “In My Hands”.

Data d’uscita: 01 Ottobre 2012

Affin prepares its first mix compilation with several, brand new, unreleased tracks from the label residents Little Fritter, Roberto, The Dolphins and Chris Page. Along side some new signed acts like Mattias Fridell, Jeroen Searchand Ad.lib & Silvision. Label founder Joachim Spieth delivers this superb DJ-mix, featuring all the compiled tracks. Little Fritter opens the session with “It’s So Real”. A typical hi-class Fritter party tune, followed by Dirty Culture’s “In My Hands”. There are more percussive elements, before fading into Stefano Esposito’s “Broken Brick”. What a sub bass! The Dolphins “B” also sets up an amazing Tech House tune with dubby chords. “With Particular References” is the first Mattias Fridell original track on Affin. This dub techno tune merges perfectly with Brendon Moeller’s already known remix of Deepchild’s “Gnade Und Vergessen”. Then, its straight into “Flight Path” from Roberto. This one is a great mover, with its emotional sequences. Then, “Interference Pattern” from Jeroen Search turns the set into more technoid signals. Chris Page’s “Vert” is concentrated and a big show tune, with its sequenced madness. Ad.lib & Silvision’s “Agoraphobia” seems to consist of large rooms, and sub basses filling it up, with fx developing over a long periods of time, building up and leading in to Reggy Van Oer’s “UntitledX2”, a testament to his strengths as a producer. Strong beats, organised delayed chords & panning. It’s just a statement of Affin’s stance on techno, and finally, a good point to close this mix.
“Affin Fractals” is part of a special series of releases to celebrate the fifth label birthday.
